Kim Valentine

Today, the person I took a picture of is Kim Valentine. She is married to David Valentine and they have one daughter. Kim has been living in Remington since 1991, and she loves living here. She has made a lot of friends in the last 19 years, and now considers Remington her home town! A great place to live.

I found Kim tonight at the Remington Carpenter Township Library in the Roy Tobias Room. The library is sponsoring a "Scrapbooking" time tonight and tomorrow during the day, and Kim was one of nine people there working on creating new pages of memories. They all seemed to be having a wonderful time. I, on the other hand, came only to get a picture of someone for the blog. Since it is still very cold outside, I decided to look in a warm place. :)

Tri-County Schools were canceled for the day because of the snow and blowing winds, especially on the county roads. We ended up with around 6 inches of snow before the wind started up. I am ready for it to at least return to "seasonable" temperatures!
