Scott and Derek
I promise, this is the last post about my family, at least for now. :) I took this picture of my sons on Scott's graduation day. They have both grown up in Remington and graduated from Tri-County High School. It was a beautiful day in California, much nicer than it was back in Remington on the 12th of February.
Scott and Jordan
As I said earlier, I was in San Diego in February to attend the graduation of my son, Scott, from Marine Boot Camp. He was not the only Remington native graduating that day. Jordan Coty, son of Mike and Gina Coty also graduated. So, even though this should have been posted in February, it was not, so I am doing it now. These two young men made it through the toughest boot camp training of any of the armed services, and I for one, am very proud of them. Plus, there's something about a man in a uniform. :)
I'm back up and running!
I apologize for my long absence from this blog. The month of February was a bit of a challenge for me. Most of you who know me know that my son graduated from Marine Boot Camp on February 12, and my father died the day before that graduation. Then my new Marine also got married--all in about 10 days. I got out of the routine and have finally caught up with my work, so it is time to jump back in.
My picture of the day was taken right outside my front door. School was canceled for the day, and I didn't think about it earlier, when the fog was REALLY bad, but you still can't see too far down our street.
