Well, it's New Year's Eve, and we are finishing off the first decade of the 21st century. Wow, a lot of things have changed during the past 10 years. Some good and some not so! Anyway, I am still alive and kicking, so I am going to try something new.
A year ago, I read about someone taking 365 portraits of people in his home town, and posting them in a blog. I thought it was a neat idea, but didn't read about it until a week or so into January of 2009. Since this is Remington's Sesquicentennial (that's 150 years!) I decided to do my own version. Instead of taking pictures of people only, I will be putting up pictures of the town of Remington and its residents, young and old. Some we probably all know, and some might be people just passing through or visiting our community. I hope you all will enjoy this as much as I am sure I am going to.
Tomorrow, I begin my attempt at capturing the essence of Remington, Indiana. I don't have a big fancy camera, but it takes decent pictures, so I will begin. I wonder what my first picture will be?
